eVotional: Joel 2:23

“Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.” Joel 2:23

The Word of the Lord is power. But that power isn’t experienced or realized unless we activate it via application. It is through this obedience that we come to truly know the life giving Word of God.

He has given us blessings beginning day 1 until now. His rain pours on all. This is cause for rejoicing! He has never forsaken us when he could easily justify leaving us to our own devices.  He has shown his track record of faithfulness and pours out that rain in due season. 

The rain in our latter days will continue to yield an increase that will generate an abundance that we will not have room enough to contain! It will not tarry. In the first month that it is due, the rain will fall! He worthy of praise. Let us return a measure of his faithfulness today by thankfulness and trust.
